Anyone use a periskop (symmetrical doublet)?

I'm working on designing and building a lens for 8x10. basically it's a for-fun project with elements I can obtain cheaply.

Does anyone have examples of work shot with a periskop lens, also known as a symmetrical doublet?

Periskop Aplanat lens. In the first shot you see the lens on the original camera. I used it on a 4x5 monorail, paper negative, lens at f22.
