Thanks Tin ! Introspection was indeed happening when I took this photo, I remember that I wanted to create a cool and loving posture holding my bass like a loved one but shortly after my mind went blank and I started thinking of many other things going on in my life and my expression changed a lot from what I expected it to be.
Large format photography is not only about size.

Self portrait from years ago, perhaps 1985 or so - me and my #1 son below a levee in Pineville, Louisiana. Most likely a Crown Graphic.

Self portrait with my 5x7 camera.

Unlike what it looks like, the photo was taken with my left hand with another 4x5 camera sitting in front of me.

Thanks, guys. I don't take a lot of self portraits, but I couldn't resist all the shapes going on here. Also, I needed to take a break from the cold outside.
