Thanks ! I just hope that our Russian friends won't be offended by this silly photo full of stereotypes ! Having Russian and Ukrainian family is pushing me to toy with my eastern roots.
Large format photography is not only about size.

Hans made a great view camera, it must be nice to use it to shoot portraits, on top of that I love Tele Artons lenses that give a soft image great for portraits.
Hi Laurent I'm not in La Chaux de Fonds I live near Lucerne Central Swiss. The Artons are only fully open tiny bit soft up to f8 at f11 and f16 I could not see a difference between the Arton and a APO Ronar 300mm.

    Like your portrait to!

I got it from a magazin photographer from Zürich.

Hah, I had mine grown while we were closed for the covid. Now that I'm back to work I had to shave.

I bought myself a 5 string bass guitar, found a bass teacher and working hard to teach myself how to master this instrument. Then I wanted to make a self portrait to celebrate this new whim. Sorry I couldn't afford a Fender... Yeps...Getting old, and my Apo Artar at F16 doesn't spare me much !

    Sinar P 5x7", Apo Artar 16" 1/2 (420mm) at F16, HP5 5×7", Ilfotec HC 1+47 scan V700. I used my air soft release which has a 5 meter long "hose".
