In the original body of text I mentioned how I took this photo with a Polaroid Avigo self timer. It's a mechanical timer you can use it to trigger your lens remotely. No hands or feet necessary. They're under $30 on eBay. You just need to practice with it until you have the timing down so you don't blink.

It's made me consider getting the B's New Processor, which I've hesitated getting because my only tank is a Jobo 3005.
Benoît doesn't refer to anything that large in any of his instructions. But it looks like a very interesting and space-saving device.
Would be a handy thing to take on the road.
I use timers all the time, as I am my only subject
More than once I have made 4 images on one piece of BW film and/or Fuji Roid
I also use very long RO tubing to fire Packards, 50 ft no problem
