Ilex shutter size

Hi all,

Are the number of the ilex shutter equivalent to the copal and compur shutter.

I mean, does an ilex 3 have the same size as a copal 3??

Steve Grimes has typical dimensions of Ilex shutters and dimensions for Copal shutters on his web site.

If I'm comparing the correct numbers, converting between inches and millimeters, it appears that the Copal 3 is quite a bit larger than an Ilex number 3.

Steve himself often contributes here. Perhaps he'll chime in.
