    Epson v750 Pro problem

On my V750 When I click on Configuration - Source ( scanner ) the V750 is not listed as an option, also clicking on film size only gives me roll film sizes, 5x4 and 10x8 are not listed.

What program are you in when you "click on Configuration-Source"?
I suspect the problem is there, not in your scanner.

A probably dumb question. Is the scanner turned on? Some software, like the Epson and Silverfast software, won't work until it's turned on. It has to detect and communicate with the scanner.

If you are using Epson Scan, are you in normal, or professional mode? Turning it to pro mode will open up more configuration capabilities.

The fact that you can only see roll film sizes means that you are on the page that allows you to select the medium format sizes; that is not where you set the scanning area.

Close the configuration and simply set whether you want a reflective, transparency or negative scan and whether you want B&W or colour. Then do a preview scan and drag a marquee around the area that you want to scan. You should now be ready to do a proper scan so, select the resolution you desire and make your scan.

To the best of my knowledge, the Epson scanner software doesn't allow you to choose a scanner; in fact, it won't open until the correct scanner for the software is connected and switched on.

Would you please post a screenshot of the dialog that you are looking at ?

Come to that, you say that you are using the software supplied with the scanner, but which software are you using, the Epson or the Silverfast ?
