I was on Mackinac Island, Michigan earlier this month for the annual meeting of the Michigan Historic Preservation Network, and had the little Wista RF 4x5 camera with me for a few holiday snapshots whilst playing hooky from conference sessions. Some were general landscape or streetscape views, but I did a few photos of individual buildings. Here is the lovely St. Anne's Catholic Church, one of the landmarks as you approach the island from the south.

Three negative scans of a housing development near where I live. What struck me was a somewhat remembered line from a song about ticky-tacky little houses. While these are not tacky (they are quite nice homes) I was trying to show that there are a lot of them, so I tried to include a glimpse of the similar houses further back from the ones in the foreground. I would have probably needed a drone with an attached 4x5 to really show what I wanted, but what I had was a little elevation and my 300mm and 210mm lenses. HP5+, Pyrocat-HD.
