I had one more sheet of Portra 400 and couldn't help but shoot these cute little beach houses. Or, as the sign on one of them said, "Condiminimum." Taken on Dauphin Island, Alabama.
Another 'Rainbow' row!
Cute!
Do you know the 1961 Ticky Tacky song?

Good suggestion Jim,
I just 'ordered' Alexa to play Pete Seeger songs. Amazing how many references to my local area in them.
Sounds great on my huge 1960's speakers.
I will say 'Thank you' to Alexa after I say 'Alexa stop'.
The new Politically correct speech is a must for elders.
Regrooving.

This is an old house which is thought to have been an African-American church, located at the Twelve Oaks Walking Trail in Ocean Springs, MS. I learned of this beautiful site just recently and was happy to visit it when I traveled to MS on business last week. I also just found out a couple days ago that they offered an Artist Residency which I really hope they offer again and I will apply. I could photograph on this trail a lot, and it also is part of the Old Fort Bayou Blueway, so lots of opportunities for canoeing. There was a really ugly sign next to the stairs that was bright white and said the property was monitored by "Ring." I almost didn't take this photo but then I had the idea to simply drape my darkcloth over the sign. Voilą!
