Nice, xiaubauu, and great buildings too. I feel like your rise is too much, though - the buildings seem to fan out as they go up in the frame.

Adam, next time, try to get there during a snow storm if you are nearby. Preferably as the storm is winding down.

Winter is a little less bleak / more fun if you take advantage of the beauty of the weather when it happens. If you're after the light and not the weather, winter is handy because you don't have to get up so early and can get done early.

I realize now that I scanned these in 16 bit BW, and probably should have scanned in color....

    Comments always welcome.

I wouldn't attempt it and that's imo - what you have here is great and would be difficult to better - I really like the light, the pattern depicting the unfinished work to the building and the vignetting, which just tops it off

    very good work

Ya, I think so too, the optical representation is fanning out cause our eyes are used to seeing finishing point when looking at vertical building... that's why it look as though the head is bigger than bottom?

Thanks! 'Tis a good idea, though the roads here tend to be unkempt sometimes in the winter, but I'll have my new car by then and can (hopefully) do more winter driving. Thankfully it's only about an hour.

I had tried shots of the lake, but the old uncoated lens combined with negative scratches doomed that project. There's always next time!
