Broadbent, your pieces are wonderful. I have left color far behind some time ago but your color pieces excite me. How long has it been since I've seen REAL colors! I forgot what they looked like. Truly marvelous! We love it when the old masters stop by here

    That camera in "photographer" - isn't it a Gandolfi? A 7x5" Traditional?

Thanks everybody for the warm welcome. I apologise for holding forth on natural perspective. I do have a few bees in my bonnet. One of them is the shorter lens, others include minimalist cameras, penombra, and very long exposure times.
    See you in the forums.

Christopher, in your original post you referred to 5x7 / 13x18 work with color negative film. Is that what you used for the color images on your Web site? If not, what film did you use? I too am much happier with real colors than the Crayola spectrum popular today.

    Sal,
I have never used colour negative film in 40 years. Any colour there is Ektachrome. I also paint my own backgrounds.

I like the 5x7 fixed focus camera, how would that look in an 11x14 with some thin boxed film holders?

Well the box would be 12x12x12 because the spring back is square. That's like big luggage. Have a look a Fotoman - though somehow you always need up-shift or down-shift. Or ask Gowland to make a aerial camera with one flat side for the shift.
