    after 25 years i got my dream together.
    linhof technika 5x7 with a nikkor 600mm
    thanks to the digital mainstream this kind of gear become affordable.
    the joy to use it, is beyond words!

    A nice setup but I would worry about such a heavy camera and lens on this tiny ball head. I use a Ries A 100 for a similar setup. The 5x7" Technika listed DM 8600 the last year it was made (1986) so the digital shooters do make nice things affordable.

    the head is tiny and compact. you need a turn of 20° to tighten it. levelling the camera even with the 600mm is safe! the only complaint is the quick release, but i am spoild by the linhof quick release.
