This Toyo, like most of the cameras I own, was in need of a little tender loving care and a few repair parts when I obtained it a while back. I finally decided to finish the repair/replace and it is up and working now. I bought it to do some tabletop work and it is ready to go now.

My Shen-Hao FCL 820-A 'Phillips style.' With Fujinon 300/5.6 in Copal 3. I got this camera when it first came out. Now about ten years old.

Interesting that for the latest model Intrepid, your knobs are completely different than my mk4 black edition. Second batch?

I'm not sure and unaware of any model changes with the black edition. This one did ship out on July 10, 2020.

My new camera, superbly built and constructed, very impressive. I almost hate to use it as it's so beautiful, to my eyes anyway :-).

Beautiful indeed. Be careful but don't be afraid to use it.

"Construction Unit Design" allows me to upsize the camera to 13x18/5x7. Nice to have the larger format, I am just getting going with 5x7. 240 Componons on the left, 250 Imagon pair on the right.

Thanks. Mine was shipped early April. Both inside and outside knobs on mine are both circular and in fact, one of my outside knobs won't securely lock after a year of use. Perhaps that's why yours has the cross shape and they made a slight tweak to the design.

I'll certainly handle it gingerly especially at first, but it will get used a lot.
