Re: Show off your Large Format camera!

Next in a long line of "Cameras I Will One Day Sell" is my first wood camera, the venerable Kodak 2D.
I've always had an aversion to wood cameras, even the best-made ones, like Lotus or Chamonix.
Not a knock on the companies or manufacturing, just my preference for cameras that can handle all of nature's elements and provide a good/high degree of precision.
The 2D is not my first, or fifth, choice for a camera, but these days I'm just happy to have an 8x10 back in the house after a 2-year layoff.
I'm liking the simplicity and fact that I can make most replacement parts myself, if needed.

Just finished fixing it up, and now shooting some film to test lightproof-icity.

That's a beautiful setup. I love stuff like that. I have a Deardorff commercial camera with a huge stand it's definitely not going anywhere.

New to me Plaubel Peco Profia by Nokton48, on Flickr

This arrived here from Germany within the last couple of weeks. The lens is a Schneider 270mm Tele Arton and the 4x5/9x12 sliding roll back makes this fast to use. I am going to use 4x5 Graphmatics in it for now.

This is all original Plaubel Peco Profia from the 70s.

Hate to repeat myself, but this is the one I'm most proud of right now:

Things will probably change when I've finally finished restoring my Agfa-Ansco.
