    Yuval,

I saw that Ball Joint Linhof on eBay. It was in such poor condition, I considered it a no go for any restoration.

A trip to Germany would be interesting, but it could take years to uncover a Gigant.

Not enough time and money. Anywhere in NA is my only option.

I have a large cargo trailer...

Here are some of my Linhof lensboard mods. I have plenty of lensboards!

Here's my first one in my old studio. https://www.photrio.com/forum/thread...rst-day.96541/

Here's the first iteration, a prototype, maybe on 1 or 3 made. I have seen it in an old movie. Perhaps 'Funny Face' Audry Hepburn. I may have the wrong movie.

Bob Saloman a member here and former Linhof rep says the First Linhof Kardan Color 8X10 was too costly to manufacture. Notice the ball gimbal on the standard to rail connections. They can move in a very interesting way.

Where's the Swing Movement for each standard ?

I look into this picture, and besides that marvelous Ball Gimbal, I cannot see any Swing mechanism built into the bottom of the standards.

Does it make sense that such configuration does not include Swing, or is it that aformentioned Ball Joints were supposed to provide proper Swing range ?

Correction. The front has same movements as rear with swing zero lock and shift.

The rear has shift and swing with a zero lock?. The front has shift only. Can't tell if the axis tilts have the zero locks mine have.

Middle has shift and a different pedestal as it has no ball gimbal.

New-to-me Walker Titan SF number 0057, taking the air at Moss Beach, California. Bought last month from a member on this board. Getting back into LF after selling all my gear a few years ago.

Love the Titan SF. I have one too, about the same vintage. Mine is # 81. This one has the original style knobs. Later, they were black. That camera is like a rock. Super rigid. You can use a 450mm lens with it if you use forward base tilt and backward axis tilt. Works great and still rigid. And after a day near the ocean you can take off the lens and bellows and give it a bath in the sink to get the salt off of it!

Looks great. Like the lens too.

I suppose the blue Karmann Ghia roadster is not yours. Had a black once.
