Thank you Ritchie, the lens is the Dominar Anastigmat (first made by Hüttig and later by Ica and Zeiss) - it has a focuslength of 16,5 cm. At that time it was the standard focus for these camera's.
I'm sorry when you can't see the filmholder. I put the same picture of it in another thread, here (hope you can see it there): http://www.largeformatphotography.in...et-Film-holder
cheers
Ron
Today I can see the holder in this thread, too, but the first pic (front view of camera) has gone - curious :-)
new member of the family.
24x30cm reisekamera with tripod case and three cassettes.
Suter lens and shutter..
ready to go...
Just be grateful I didn't bid on this, Emil! It was on your side of the country, too.
PS. ULF have their own "Show off....." now.
My ebay steal last week
An un-named British 12"x10" field camera, the seller's Grandfather and later his father used the camera, in South Wales.
With a Quarter plate camera. The bellows need repair and they are rather moldy but it cleans of alright. There's a small piece of metal missing that holds one side of the front standard to the bass track but it'll be easy to replace. Needs new lens boards and GG screen as well.
I have some 12"x10" book form plate holders that I'm part way through restoring and luckily they are an almost perfect fit.
