Here's one of mine - a Welsh made Nesbitt along with 2 x Welsh made PPE lenses. A long term project which I might eventually sort out - the camera takes MPP lens boards which is handy. (the taking lens is from much earlier).

Indeed you do. As it happens I know a lens designer who knows who designed the 210mm f/6.8 so I have been informed that it dates from '72-'75. It is a simple symmetrical double gauss type lens of 4 elements and works at a fairly high field angle but at low aperture. The other is optimised for 1:1 but doesn't cover 5" x 4". The Nesbitt has a 5" x 4" back and dates from around 1990. I used to live not from from where PPE were based so it was fun to have bought camera and lenses from Wales but am now up in Scotland and it doesn't look like any lenses were actually made in Scotland although I have a 10" x 12" Birnie which was made in Dundee which I can put a Grubb onto .....

16" Veritar f6 lens on shop made lens board. Since the geared focusing works great I have most of the work done rebuilding this camera. I still haven't decided if I want to re-paint it or strip it down to the cherry wood.

Oh so nice! If it were me, I'd leave the cherry stripped and maybe rub in a bit of watco or tongue oil (giving plenty of time to cure as either can be a bit oily for awhile!) - with a bit of judicious waxing of the moving/sliding bits.

A recent addition. These lenses I've had for a while now but I want to get some that fold with the camera without having to unmount my Crown Graphic lenses from their lens boards.
