    Very cool. I really like the camera. I may eventually try to come up with something to change out the tripod to a better one. Its sturdy when set on good ground like shown in my photo but I would like a much stronger one for different locations.

    I took the tripod mounting ring out and put a piece of plywood circle in its place, I had soaked the plywood disk in linseed oil laced with anti-mold, which is a lot thinner than normal linseed oil and permeates, it really strengthens the wood. Then just screwed in a normal tripod fitting, its now used on my heavy manfrotto tripod and is very stable.

    First time to post, images were rotated +90... deleted message, edited pictures to -90 (to compensate???) and now they appeared as they were...

    It's the EXIF data causing the issue, you need to remove it from the Image files.

    that is a neat design Simos. is it fixed focus I take it? did you form the copper yourself? just with a hammer or how does one do something like that?
    Do you shoot it mostly hand held or with a tripod?

    Screen test is still in the stage, but yes, the focus is fixed.

    I did everything myself, except, of course, the lens and the viewfinder, let alone cassettes.

    And sorry my poor english. I write a little foreign sites.
