    Cutting film

    70mm or larger- 126mm

i have found at least 2 methods (home-made cutters) on internet. i must cut down unperforated 70mm to 35mm- 1m pieces only. for use in lookaround panoramic camera.
any simple hint how to do that without scratching film? static film or moving film during cutting?

    Re: Cutting film

There where film splitters aviable for 8mm movie film. It should be an easy task to enlarge such a cutter for larger film. Any good film splitter works with a cutting wheel and polished stainless steel rollers, so scratches are no issue.
