I'm liking that Ken. We have much of that sort of scene on the coast here, but with the addition on seaweed and barnacles. I'd call it a little abstract, since it's not so much nature as it is shapes and lines seen well (and you saw it well and captured that which you saw well) . Piled rock like this also has much metaphor depending on the viewer. I'd think of strong steady forces bearing on the subject; it is a compression structure after all, but there is much to personalize about being squeezed like that. Rocks of all different shapes fitting together to serve a purpose... The name Peter.. It's biblical connotations.. For someone else perhaps masonic connotations. A weighty subject to photograph.
This one is Fantastic Ken
I think I am responding well to the slightly lighter pallet of tones in this one.
That's a nice bit of seeing.

Thank you very much.
Rocks are nice subjects because they just sit there, but it's difficult to make them compelling. Rocks are... hard

You're on fire Ken. Keep it up! These are all very compelling. I can see these as large prints I would be happy to have on my walls (if I had larger walls, that weren't already full of photographs). But the tones are lovely and the abstractness is just right.
Dave
Thank you very much.
