    thanks, chaps.

    and Wayne: thank you! That's the one that was at the corner of my brain when we were shooting. It would have taken me forever to dig it up.

    4x5 with 150 lens. A few years ago Judith and I were walking around Cole Weston's property, (with his permission) on a cold and rainy morning and found his trout shack.

    all shot with my old Toyo CF over the summer. 210mm f/6.8 Geronar, AB800 Strobe with 20 degree grid for the first two and two AB800s one with softbox and the other bare for the second one. I think.

    Here are a couple of recent ones;

    Micky 20 x 24 with 16 x 20 Reducing back 550 XXL Lens wide open at f11, FP4 in Rollo Pyro, Pt/Pd Cot 320 dev in pot Ox.

    Daniel 5 x 7 Wet Plate Collodion Tintype Daniel's hair was a deep red so it lost most of the detail as collodion is not red sensitive. Of course I christened him 'Sideshow Bob' for the afternoon. I have a talent for the obvious.

    Kevin,

    Your work presented here and on your website is fascinating. I hope you post more often.

    best,

    Monty - Thank you for the comments, I appreciate it. I'm new here so I'm sure I'll post more in the future, i like this site. I absolutely love the wet plate you posted. The lack of detail in the hair adds to the photo I think.

    Domenico - I really enjoy the shallow depth of field in your photo, its just perfect. Plus, I checked out your myspace and I automatically like you because you have Egon Schiele in your top friends! Schiele is possibly my all time favorite artist, if it wasn't for David Bowie I'd probably never have known Schiele.

    Wonderful work everyone! Here is a new one for me. Angie grew up next door to us. Her dad is turning 60 and this is my gift to him.
