Jekyll Island, GA is famous today for its driftwood beach. I've been once before, way back when I first started shooting 4x5, and didn't really get a great image. Finally went back Friday, with the 4x5 again and a lot more years of experience.
This tree is probably the most famous on the island, being that it's upright and at the edge of the sea, and many people take photos of it. I knew I would shoot it myself when I saw the reflections in the sand. I tried to compose it at least with some leading diagonals from the clouds and seafoam.
