In the same batch of images I also got my first (unintentional) double exposure. Frankly, I'm a bit surprised it took so long!

I decided to do some "toning" on that last image, and add another:
Glad you did, the second one is as the first a real keeper.
These are Pygmy Oaks on California's central coast. They only grow to about 8 feet tall and they are in clusters on an otherwise flat coastal bluff. I crawled into one of the clusters of trees to get this shot.

"If you want nice fresh oats, you have to pay a fair price. If you can be satisfied with oats that have already been through the horse; that comes a little cheaper."
Preston - Brrrrr! That's great. I'm glad I wasn't there.
This is one of my first view camera images in years. I had gotten out of photography back in 98 when I dropped out of university (never ever trust a college's financial aid agents to know what they are talking about). I've shot a bit of digital since, but felt it lacked substance.
Shot with an Ektar 127 in syncro-compur on a Super Graphic with 6x7 graflex rfh, Ilford Pan-F Plus in D-76 1:1, December 2009, Carson, NM.
