Hi All
Just found this Thread, love the photo's,Im new to 4x5. Ive just come back from my first trip with my Tachihara thought I would pop in this shot I took at Mungo N.P. N.S.W. Australia. Tachihara 4x5, 90mm Topcor, 4 @f32, apx 5pm. film Ilford FP4
The tree was sitting on top of a sand bute about 15feet up. I think it is an ancient Cypress Pine.
Great thread

Hi Brian,
this has an archaic power,
IMO far away from the stereotype "gnarled tree".
Very good.

Great shot Brian.
I'm hoping to get to Mungo sometime next year. Later this month one or two of the guys from the APUG site and I are going to see the melting of the snow at Mt Feathertop, which will probably be a two or three day trip. If you want to come along you'd be more than welcome. One of the guys uses a Wista 4x5 and the other shoots 35mm.
