Thread: post your trees!

    Much appreciated, though it mostly comes from making a virtue of necessity. FWIW, your amphibious set-up reminds me how important finding the right "elevation" is for LF--though I'm afraid my high-gradient streams here in the Smokies might put me through the rinse cycle (again) if I get too ambitious.

    As kingfishers catch fire, dragonflies draw flame;
    As tumbled over rim in roundy wells
    Stones ring; like each tucked string tells, each hung bell's
    Bow swung finds tongue to fling out broad its name;
    Each mortal thing does one thing and the same:
    Deals out that being indoors each one dwells;
    Selves — goes itself; myself it speaks and spells,
    Crying Whát I dó is me: for that I came.

    The dog days of summer had me rethinking my yomping about with my Sinar Norma 5x7 kit last week, especially when pattern recognition was hard to come by:

    Got to love the G-man... FWIW, I always thought photographers especially (at least when they're as good as, say, John Blakemore) instantiate his concept of "inscape" and "instress":

    Its a picture of Sasquatch- he's hiding right there behind those bushes.
