Thread: post your trees!

    Re: post your trees!

    As kingfishers catch fire, dragonflies draw flame;
    As tumbled over rim in roundy wells
    Stones ring; like each tucked string tells, each hung bell's
    Bow swung finds tongue to fling out broad its name;
    Each mortal thing does one thing and the same:
    Deals out that being indoors each one dwells;
    Selves — goes itself; myself it speaks and spells,
    Crying Whát I dó is me: for that I came.

    The dog days of summer had me rethinking my yomping about with my Sinar Norma 5x7 kit last week, especially when pattern recognition was hard to come by:

    Got to love the G-man... FWIW, I always thought photographers especially (at least when they're as good as, say, John Blakemore) instantiate his concept of "inscape" and "instress":

    Its a picture of Sasquatch- he's hiding right there behind those bushes.
    The magic you are looking for is in the work you are avoiding.

    Patrick, this image has wonderful counterpoint of form as well as color that set it apart.

    Jon, fine composition and tonality. In my view this image joins the 6th one on your Photostream Flickr page as among your most successfully unified B&W images.
