    Happy to join all the great recent posts, though upon further reflection I think my subject isn't so much "trees" as it is holes in the understory.

    And I think that's a very interesting approach to photographing a forest! Beautiful images you're producing, kudos.

    Much appreciated, though it mostly comes from making a virtue of necessity. FWIW, your amphibious set-up reminds me how important finding the right "elevation" is for LF--though I'm afraid my high-gradient streams here in the Smokies might put me through the rinse cycle (again) if I get too ambitious.
