Hmmm, guess it is a fact we have to live with. I could soft proof I suppose before exporting to jpg from adobe rgb and see if that helps.

Thank you for the compliments! I am now tossed by which version looks better, the one that is technically color corrected or this one that has the slight colorcast. It was the colorcast that drew me to this version when I was converting it over. Hmmm, guess it will come down to which one moves me more.
    Hello!!
I asked you about the center filter because I haven't noticed any falloff with my Nikkor 65 ... Perhaps I'm not aware of it ... so, hehe, I'm happy !
About the versions ... I prefer something in between those you uploaded:-) I think that if you just add a little of contrast and blacks it should be nice ... just my opinion ;-)

    Thank you!
    Kind regards

    Hello!!
    Thank you :-)

No, no wet scan. I use the original (and horrible) Epson holders ... No focus adjustment.

Get a flickr account, then upload full size there, then click on the image in your photostream, then click share button on lower right. From there choose BBC code copy. Then here click image>from url and paste what you just copied. Then uncheck retrieve from remote file. Be sure when you click the share icon on flickr that you chose the size of the image you want to post up before selecting and copying the BBC code.

    Re: post your trees!

After liking my original image, Peter De Schmidt pointed out a color cast which I hadn't noticed because I liked the way it looked, except for the big tree trunk. Or so I thought. After redoing image from conversion of negative to this, I like this one much better. When you compare to the previous one I posted, it is obvious the cast and flikr makes it worse because for some reason, flikr over saturates images when you upload them. Sharpening was a bit tricky. I did not apply any to the tree trunk as it made it look awful regardless of the amount, but it looks better unsharpened as it is dark to begin with.
