I can't take the credit, its Mother Nature. But thank you, I appreciate your kind words! I hope you enjoy your Autumn foliage too.

    Oslo, NORWAY - Orreskogen- 2021

    photo #116 - "a fallen giant"

Going arround with the Industar-51 210mm and doing some test.

I only take photos with my 5x7 since January 2021.
I used to do some “ street photography” with 35mm film, both color and BnW, which i developed ar home. I usually focused on lines and shapes.
With large format, i started experimenting with lenses more since i have the universal iris clamp.

But those times i went out with the industar-51 i decided to start taking to my nature photography some of that composition prefferences that i used to use in the city.

Here, a very classic TWO THIRDS division of the photo - ( ground and sky- also tree on the right marking the right side third)

I couldnt help setting the fallen tree in a diagonal from one corner to the other.

None of the lenses I own came with shutter. I mount them on a universal iris clamp, which I adapted for this camera-

    -Camera: Stenopeika 5x7
-Film: unbranded x-ray film “ full blue” -expired-used as iso 50
    -LENS: Industar-51 210mm f/4.5 at F/16
    - 8 seconds exposure-
Developed in hangers under red safe light-
Rodinal 1+100 for around 2-3 minutes.

That’s great indeed, such a nice tonal scale, like it very much!

This is a negative scan, raw file created in Vuescan, further "development" with Negaltive Lab Pro, last steps in LR
Generally I do enlarge prints as well from 4x5 and 5x7 negatives, for 8x10 only contact prints
