who do you use for shutter repair?

    hi all,
i have been using flutots with great success. she is very busy now and pretty backed up. she is currently doing a couple of my lenses. i was hoping to get a quick CLA done. it is a very straight forward clean the old lube repair.

ICT Camera in Mountain View, CA. I am not sure if he checks email. Best to call Fred at 650-961-5825 with any questions.

    Eddie,
Try SK Grimes. They are in RI. I have only heard good things about their service.

In the UK I use Black on White, in Bristol, turnaround is 3 days, similar prices for a CLA £50/$100

www.flutotscamerarepair.com. Carol is fantastic and very, very reasonable in price. She also has incredible links on her site to a vast amount of resources and information.

She has resurrected several old and gummy lenses for me and I'm delighted.

I just got 2 shutters back from Flutot's today. The speeds were spot on and the CLA seemed to have been very well done. I would not hesitate to reccomend Carol's service.

I think some are answering off the title and not the post.

It is still nice to read. Maybe the message they are giving is that it is better to wait, than to look for quicker?
