My 45N-1 has made the arduous journey from HAINING to HANGZHOU. Not that far really, but as the say--the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

Just relax guys, they will get there and you will be as pleased as well ....... or just in awe at the craftmanship. When I first got mine, not the 4x5 mind you, but i couldn't keep my hands off of it!!!! I'll keep an eye for the posts as they come in. Congrats in advance.

So I guess now is the right time to tell you all that my Chamonix is virtually falling apart!

He-he, just kidding! It`s still rocks, the best (inexpensive) 4x5 ever.

    Merry X-mas to everyone.

You are an evil, evil man. But you're also at least partly responsible for me getting the Chamonix--so that may count in your favor--or not.

    YEAH!!! I can hardly wait!

My fantastic wife told me I HAD to get one after I showed her pics of Amund and Jack's cameras. Who am I to say no to her?...

A HUGE THANKS goes to Hugo for helping us get such a sweet camera!!

Cheers and Happy Holidays to All!!

Amund's post WAS the seed for me to get this camera. I already have three 4x5 cameras and really don't need a fourth, but when I saw how good it looked, how light it is and it was less than the price of a typical reducing back ....

I've got my digital camera ready for the unwrapping.

But as of today, the camera is still in HANGZHOU.

And then next week, there will either a Canham DLC45 or a Toyo 45AX in the classifieds.
