    Hewes Tanks

Hi, I want to get a 5x4 Dev Tank. Not sure if I ought to get the Combi-Plan or the Hewes system. I've read about the pros and cons of the Combi-Plan on the forum, but does anyone have any experience and knowledge with the Hewes System??

    Thanks,

    Karl

    Re: Hewes Tanks

    Hi Karl,

when you have to develope films often, such a tank system is the best. For b&w three tanks for the baths and a washing tank and you can process many films a day. With the swimming lid the developer is protected against oxidation. But when you have only some films here and there, the Combiplan is more economically.
