I have a question perhaps someone can help me with.
When I scan a 8x10 negitive on my Lexmark flatbed scanner there is a cross hatch pattern in the background of the resulting digital image. Any ideas why ?

When I scan a 8x10 negitive on my Lexmark flatbed scanner there is a cross hatch pattern in the background of the resulting digital image. Any ideas why ?

Just a guess - check your settings and see if you have half-tone pattern descreening or similarly named option turned on.
