    Johnathon, thanks. I always attribute this special character to the lens, the Xenar 210mm from around the end of the ww2. In my eyes, the lens provides most incredible results when focused to ~ 1m - 1.5m, but I love it for landscapes too...

    Full bloom

    Shot with Chamonix 5×8" and Schneider-Kreuznach Xenar 210mm f:4.5 lens on 4¾×6½" (half-plate) sheet of Fomapan 100, developed in Rodinal. Full frame.

    Jiri and Jonathan, both are wonderful.

    Jonathan, your setup up looks different, both the background and table texture...mind posting/pm'ing a quick snapshot of this setup. I love the silky grey background.

    Jiri, I can't stop starting at your "Intruder" image. Textures are so smooth and creamy - love the image.

    Also enjoying the series that Robert has been posting and of course, it's always nice to see new work from Jonathan. This thread is on fire right now!
