That's really nice, Chris. Like David, I've planted sunflowers but have had no luck.

    Re: Flowers Anyone?

Such nice work on this thread.

My first two examples are on Ektar100 using a Linhof Color with a Symmar 135mm, using black seamless paper and north light coming through a side window. f/16 at 1/2 second.

These scans are from prints done on Kodak Endura N. The flowers were from City Market for $3.00.

And finally, one done on out-of-date NLP from 1992. f/11 at 1 second.

    Re: Flowers Anyone?

playing around. i had some issues. somewhere along my process i am touching the negs and leaving black wipe makes (look above the flower). i finally started using my fiber paper. my hot press died so i use dmy blotter book.....in the wrong manner. that is teh wavy lines you can see near the bottom of the picture. i think they will wash off. i washed them and re hung them.

so why do i bother posting such crap? i just thought some one may be interested in the SF differences.

cooke 13 inch f5.6 knuckler lens. shot at 5.6 and f11 at full soft. 4x5 foma negs. 5x7 ilford MG fiber. selenium toned.

Eddie - it's nice to see the relative effect of the Selenium Toning.

I have very little experience shooting flowers, but decided to look around my own back yard a little closer this week and came up with this:

    Hellebores
    Tachihara 4x5, Caltar II-N 150 5.6 (@f.8), Ilford FP4+. Contact Print.
