Sarracenia hybrid (North American pitcher plant) - 8X10 wet plate collodion negative on glass.
Made with the Deardorff and the 12" Ektar lens (wonderful old piece of glass!). Collodion used: Coffer's "#7 for negatives" and appropriate developer.

A few days later, the Parrot Tulips have opened fully and now display more shape and texture.
This is a wet plate collodion negative (on glass) shot with the Intrepid 4X5 camera fitted with my 203mm Kodak Ektar lens.
Collodion used: Coffer's #7 for negatives, which I suspect has gotten very close to too old to use (dirty negative, streaks and the collodion at the edges didn't sensitize properly). Still, it makes for an interesting result.

Got out to shoot some closeups of flowers on a tree on the first warm day we've had in a long while. (I don't know my trees....but I know it's not a cherry tree!) Efke 100 8x10 from the freezer shot in my Kodak View #2 with a Fujinon-W 300mm lens at full or almost full extension. f 5.6 at an eighth of a second. Souped HC-110 dil.B.
