    Indeed very beautiful image Ian!

    I went out for a hike and shot some of the overgrown grass/wildflowers on the side of the path. Hopefully this is the right thread for this image.

    A nice colourful image Pali, are you sure this wasn't taken in my garden?

    As a contrast I am always drawn to the elegant simplicity of these lily buds and can't resist making images of them. Unfortunately I am very sensitive to their pollen so once they start to open they have to go..

    I was rather taken by the three phases of this lily all nicely arranged on the stem so bearing in mind my sensitivity to the pollen of these blooms I donned a face dust mask and managed to capture the image without disturbing them too much.
