    Thumbs down Glossy plus B&W

I need a 17", or possibly 13" printer to supplement my Epson 7800 that runs matte ink. I don't see Canon mentioned much here. How would those printers compare to buying a 3800 or 4800?
My primary need is glossy and a secondary need is better b&w.
Is the difference between the 3800 and 4800 roll paper handling?
Has Epson announced anything smaller than the 7880 withe the new ink set?
    Thanks.

Edit: I see there is an Epson 4880 scheduled for release in Sept.

    Re: Glossy plus B&W

The new k3 inks for the 4880/7880/9880 are Vivid Light Magenta and Vivid Magenta. The other 6/7 inks remain the same.
So if I buy a 4880 most of the inks would be common with my 7800.
The ink cost of the 48X0 is one half of the 3800. (80ml v 220ml).

Epson seems to indicate a better B&W driver in the newer printers.
