    New rangefinder for Crown Graphic?

    Hi,

Is there any other rangfinders on the market that could be adapted to use on top of an older Crown Graphic?

    Thanks,
    Martin

Not really. You're looking at a rather specialized application. Personaly, I never liked those top rangefinders and always considered them a troublesome piece of junk. Just my opinion. You have a couple of options. You could send your camera to Fred Lustig and have it repaired properly. You could have it fitted with the side mounted Kalart rangefinder. All the Pacemaker models I've worked on have the side rangefinder shaft hole already in place, beneath the skin. All you need is the rangefinder and lever, and the bracket that fits on the focus rail. If you want to get really basic, you could use an old shoe mounted, uncoupled rangefinder, such as an Ideal or Kodak,
