    I respect that.

    I also think the most helpful discussions happen when we get past judging or liking/disliking, and try to understand what the artist is trying to do, and how, and whether or not it's working, and why. That kind of criticism is a lot more interesting to me than thumbs up/thumbs down.

    Simply not true. If someone buys one of my paintings, they have no rights to reproduce thousands of poster prints to sell through Z Gallery or some other place. Even when the physical painting is no longer in my possession, I can still have reproductions and prints made of that painting. This is backed up in the Berne Convention and Madrid Protocols of international copyright laws.

    You're right; I must have misunderstood something I read a long time ago. Sorry for the misinformation.

    The stuff I said about photo rights buyouts I still believe to be true.
