Thought I'd shake this old thread awake.

window at the vfw, tonopah, nevada

The other day I bought a very derelict 210mm Heliar at the auction place. I wasn't expecting much, but was a bit more disappointed when it besides being filthy and corroded and stuck, also had been cleaned poorly and has lots of sleaks.

So, with everything cleaned up as good as I could do, I threw it in the truck. This is shot on 6½ X 8½ which is well outside the intended format for a 210 Heliar. Add to that I was lower than the window and used maximum possible rise. The negative was more than a pleasant surprise. Better than expected. Weak at the tippy top, but . . . my bad for asking it to do the impossible.

SO LETS SEE U'R HELIAR PICS PLEASE!
