I didn't read the 13 page thread: Is 5x7 or 4x5 ok, or is it only 8x10?

Any size large format shot is fine, Scott. But the digital file should be sized to around 8x10 at 300 ppi.

Matus, no deadline, other than there are basically 100 spots open, and when they all fill up (one spot to a photographer) then they're all filled up. I assume that when we get close to that number of submissions, Cyrus will tell us.

As to the cover shot, if Tuan sends one of his pieces then he should get the cover imo. Otherwise, I'm content to let Frank P select the shot for the cover. He has far better taste than I do, anyway.

Wayne - take your photo to a photocopy or printing place. Ask them to scan it as a jpeg and save it on a floppy disk for you as one of them 1998 Adoble RBG thingies. Bring the floppy home, and copy the file into an email and send it to me. That's all. Then, go rub some sticks together...

Floppy disk? Have those been invented yet? Although I could scan it myself, I have a crappy scanner and dont have Photoslop (not allowed on the premises) so I suppose I should have someone do it for me. Unfortunately I'm in the middle of moving so I may not make the cutoff if things start filling up.

There should be some thoughts about a cover image/title. Also, if there is an insufficient number of images, perhaps we can bump up the number of images per photographer to two or perhaps three.

Also, if it turns out well, I'd be interested in what the curve or adjustment is to tone the B&Ws for Lulu.

Finally, thanks to all those who are participating and doing the work!

People are already sending 2 or three - one is designated as the preferred, the other as their alternate images

to keep with the no-editing spirit, are you going to print the images in the order they're received?
