Linhof 3-D pan tilt head HELP needed

Hello,

so I just finaly bought a linhof 3-D head, but it has wrong camera screw size - namely 3/8' and I would need one with 1/4'.

Is there anybody having any idea where one could find one?

Your held would be much appreciated.

Why not ask Linhof? When I wanted a different screw for my leveling head, I contacted the Linhof service outfit in the States and they sent me an assembly drawing of the head. I needed to disassemble it to replace the screw, however.

My smaller linhof ball head has a screw the unscrews for the head turns over and screws back in to the other size. Maybe yours has the same feature.

I did ask Linhof - I am waiting for an answer now. I am just worried they will ask 40 euros for it. I got the head for 80 euros - as it was already fixed by the previus owener (works fine).

No, for this tripod head two different screws were (are) produced. They cost like $43 in USA. Here I have to ask Linhof directly.
