Thread: DB mount irirs position wide open

Question DB mount irirs position wide open

    Folks,

I have just acquired a super-angulon 90/8 (older silver rimmed) Its mounted in a Sinar DB mount, and when the aperature is set to f8 the blades of the iris are still visible in the lens (just - with the points of the pentagon just at the edges of the lens opening)

Is this normal with this mount or does my lens or mount need adjusting?

    many thanks,

    Kevin.

That's normal with the f:8 Super Angulons in any mount.
