Question Polarizer gels, sheets, rolls... where?

I'm searching for some (on-line) place where I could buy some realy large polarizing gels, sheets or rolls... at least 80cm wide (that is about 32 inches I think). Do such thing exist in this world? I know for smaller gels, but the window is what I would like to cover... as a light source. tnx for any glue..

That's 19"x10'. I thought they had wider to.

Some body in Europe must have it to save on shipping. Maybe a cine shop?

Why a polarizer? Usually windows get covered with ND gels or conversion filters or combination ND/conversion material or diffusors like Lite Tough Frost.

All of these are sold by Rosco just for the purpose that you are looking for.

Heliopan does make gel polarizing sheets in both 0.3 and 0.8mm thickness in sizes up to 400 x 400 mm (15.7 x 15.7"), Kaiser makes polarizing foils that are 640 x 210mm (25.2 x 8.3"). You coluld always butt these together to cover a larger size window.

The widest I've come across is the Rosco 19 inch wide stuff - it comes on rolls of up to 50 feet, I think. It is not cheap stuff. Lee also supply 19 inch wide polarizing film, but not in the long rolls that Rosco supply.

I don't know of any larger window films in production that are truly polarizing.

It might be an idea if you explained what you are trying to do so that we can offer alternative, and cheaper, suggestions.

    Best,
    Helen
