    A friend of mine bought a Seneca view camera in beautiful shape at a flea market .it has a plate that says competitor camera seneca camera company rodchester ny. Its a 6.5x8.5? and like I said in almost perfect cond. the bellows leak like hel l but that can be fixed.My question is does any know the worth of a camera like this or someone that would know the worth.My friend wants to convert it to 5x7 b ut wants to know if its to valuable to toy with. Any info helpful.-J

    unless you have certification that this once belonged to Ansel Adams, the 5x7 back and new bellows will significantly increase its value in the present market.

    Seneca cameras of various formats and vintages come up for sale on e bay fairly frequently. You could check the auction history section of e bay to get an idea of the prices they've been going for.
