    8x10 coating blade?

    8X10 COATING BLADE:

Are people really making their own silver papers and film, is this for alt process, or for liquid light or what?

Yes, Ron Mowrey is offering workshops in making silver gelatin papers, films, and plates, and that's what these are for. It is possible to use them with other processes, but they seem to work best with gelatin based emulsions that are poured and spread warm and allowed to cool and set up before being hung to dry.

On APUG, there is a whole forum dedicated to this: http://www.apug.org/forums/forum205/. Another interesting link is http://dwrphotos.com/blog/EmulsionResearch.htm. Both worth checking out if you're interested.
