    Lenscaps...

    why is it you can have 35 different push on lenscaps of varying sizes laying around in draws and boxes... yet when you get a new lens sans cap not a one of them happens to fit!!

    I don't know the answer to this one, but will add that when I bought several new ones by mail, they didn't fit either.

    Or you can spend $100 each and let SK Grimes machine a custom one...

    Don't you know .... the cap that would have fit went off to join all your missing socks.

    If you're spending $100 on a lens cap, that lens better really put out. It had better not just be tilting at wind mills.
