    Question Attaching lens to lens board

    OK so I have a Schneider Symmar-s 300mm f/5.6 and a deardorff lens board with a copal 3 hole. How to attach them? I am guessing I just unscrew the rear element and the ring, slip it in the hole, center it best I can, and re-screw the ring and rear element...

    Just make sure if there are any shims in the lens they go back where they came from -- but yes that sounds fine.
