It seems like a 5x7 camera format. As an old pinhole camera, the units of measure are the somewhat archaic English Imperial "rods" rather than the "inches" of more modern cameras...

"There's a milion ways to go wrong"...That's for sure. How about the reciprocity failure, the exposure precision (with days of bad weather), the archival quality of the picture, the immobility of the film base... etc.

Not to speak about the final result - there cannot be the Sun in the picture (if you don't want to have a Sun trail in it) and shadows will be eliminated by the Sun motion...
