    Question L Shaped Fog?

    Hey all!

I'm currently running into an issue where there seems to always be an L shape fog mark on my plates. I ran some fog tests and can't seem to figure it out.

I was wondering if anyone here has experienced the same issue or any advice on how to clear that? It seems to be consistently on the opposite side of my pour off point.

You can see what I'm talking about on the image attached. Pour off point would be on the opposite edge.

I did a bit of research prior and a possibility could be that my collodion is drying too quickly? I will do some further test with diluting my developer and adding a bit of alcohol to my collodion.

Thanks for all the help in advance! Happy shooting.

    Issue fixed!

I put 10 drops of Everclear alcohol into the collodion bottle (about 100ML) and was quick to pop the plate into the silver bath right after I blotted the excess collodion.
